I am excited to be going home soon. I still have a lot I want to see here and I will get it all done, (So I don't need any of those seize the day comments, thank you) but knowing I will be on a plane heading back to my favorite country in the world makes m very happy. There are things that I will dearly miss here and this is one of them:
Walking to church/school and looking up and seeing Notre Dame. It is still unbelievable to me that I see these amazing places everyday. I will be sad to go home and have the oldest thing around be from the 1800's. It's just not quite as thrilling.
At church today we had the primary program and it was so cute! Kids are adorable no matter where you are. There are the kids that sing too loudly, that misbehave and that breathe right into the microphone. It would just not be a primary program without it. There are only a little over a dozen kids in the primary, so in that regard it is different, and everything is in French. It was one of the first sacrament meetings here where I was not struggling to stay awake. Even with it all in french it is so easy to feel the Spirit when those little ones sing.
I met Michael's new companion Elder Hales. He seems to be pretty nice. Michael says that he thinks it will be good. I don't think he is someone that Michael would be besties with, but I also think that he wouldn't be annoyed by him either hehe so I guess it will be a good transfer.
